Post subject:  mark that looks like a pot, pitcher, jug?

Hello! I have a bright yellow piece that I guess could be called a planter. It has numbers 628 above and USA below the mark that is a very simple silhouette which could be described as above - jug/pot/pitcher with a handle. Can't find this mark anywhere online.

I found it on ebay, except mine is bright yellow:

However, there's no MCP on the mark.

That is Mount Clemens Pottery Co. that purchased McCoy in 1967. Your piece dates sometime after that. Here's a link for more marks... http://www.mccoypotterycollectorssociet ... emarks.htm
