Hi there,
Hoping someone can tell me who the maker of this beautiful bowl is. It's black with a moriage like detail, the interior is bright red. Bottom is marked but it's so old I can't quite see it.

The mark is circular, that's about all discernible other than it's beautiful. I can't think of a single US pottery that adorned an old circle mark. Might be from italy? (grapes & what type are the white flowers, clue?)

Hello....It is very nice and it definitely looks Asian. Probably Chinese. That's my guess at least. I looked on Gotheborg's porcelain site which I use to try and ID marks on my Asian pieces. There are some round marks but there's not enough left of this one to compare. Most times these pieces are mid 20th century. Asian ceramics and porcelain are by far the hardest pieces to ID. -Mike-
